25th Under the Crown & Colonial Trades Fair

The weekend will be filled with new ways to learn and experience the history of Augusta and North Augusta. Historical reenactors will be at the Living History Park to allow a glimpse of the period of the American Revolution.
Local and regional artists will display their artwork and have items available for sale. On Friday, historical interpreters in dress and manner from the 18th century will be your hosts and hostesses for a period dinner, followed by historical entertainment and dance.
An 18th-century dance master and live 18th-century music are included. Tickets are $50 per person and are required for the dinner on Friday. (The rest of the Under the Crown and Colonial Trades Fair event weekend is free.)
Wine and ale will be offered in the Spring House Tavern starting at half past six in the evening. Your menu features: speared, roasted game; fire-roasted vegetables; fresh greens; desserts of choice; fine wines and ale. Dance master Dana Cheney will call the dance of the evening after dessert.
