"The Way We Worked"

"The Way We Worked" is a Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibit, featuring graphics, audio, photos, film and artifacts on the history of the U.S. workforce, that will be on display at the Dorchester County Archives and History Center in St. George on Mondays through Thursdays from Jan. 28 through March 12.
This exhibit is adapted from an exhibition developed by the National Archives that explores how work became a central element in American culture and traces the changes affecting the workforce and work environments over 150 years.
The traveling exhibit will be at the Dorchester County Archives and History Center through March 12, then move to five other sites around South Carolina:
