to
Coastal Discovery Museum at Historic Honey Horn 70 Honey Horn Drive, Hilton Head, South Carolina 29926
The Public Art Exhibition on Hilton Head Island, sponsored by the Public Art Fund of Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, features 20 large-scale sculptures, created by artists from across the country, which grace the natural surroundings of Coastal Discovery Museum. This biennial event draws thousands of visitors and school groups during its three-month run. The full exhibition takes viewers "around the Horn," a nearly mile-long trail with views and access to two boardwalks, camellia gardens, a butterfly shed and a historic cemetery. Admission is free, and the exhibition is open during the museum's regular business hours. Docent-led tours are available on Fridays for a small fee. Go to hhipublicart.org for more information.
