An inspiring and entertaining tale about a gathering at a frog spa nestled in the hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and playfully illustrates the very serious dangers of treating water and soil with pesticides and chemicals.
2:30 PM | Fun Frog Facts with Dr. Steve Fields of the Culture & Heritage Museums
Dr. Steve Fields is curator of natural history for the Culture and Heritage Museums of York County, where he has worked since 1986. He is also an adjunct faculty member in the Biology Department at Winthrop University, where he has served as an instructor since 1997.
Dr. Fields earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in biology from Winthrop University and a Ph.D. in integrative biology from the University of South Carolina. His interests include the natural history of the Carolina Piedmont and vertebrate fossils of the southeastern United States.
