Explore the world around you with your child during “Take a Child Outside” week. Join the Museum of York County’s daylong celebration of exploring the Carolina Piedmont along the museum’s nature trail. “Take a Child Outside” is part of an annual, nationwide celebration of children and environmental education in the outdoors.
The Museum of York County has an outdoor picnic area; pack a lunch and enjoy the day.
All outdoor programs will go on rain or shine; appropriate outdoor clothing is recommended.
“Take a Child Outside” happens Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission: Adults $8, Seniors $7, Youth $5, CHM members & ages 3 and under admitted free
