Preservation Workshop: Restoring Historic Windows

Historic Columbia and the Committee for the Restoration and Beautification of Randolph Cemetery (CRBRC) will host a hands-on window restoration Preservation Workshop, presented by Crawlspace Medic, to celebrate National Preservation Month. The workshop, led by Staci Richey, board member of the CRBRC and window restoration expert, and Sean Stucker, director of facilities for Historic Columbia, will begin with an instructional discussion exploring reasons to restore historic windows and techniques for doing so. Participants will have the chance to learn restoration techniques in the hands-on portion of the workshop. Light refreshments are included and tools and protective gear will be provided. The workshop will take place at Thompson Cottage located at 1623 Richland St. Tickets for the workshop are $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
