Pork in the Park

The 2014 Pork in the Park Barbeque Competition will take place in downtown Newberry on Saturday May 3rd. For the first time Newberry's Pork in the Park will be a Southern Barbecue Network sanctioned event, making the talent that much greater, and the judging that much tougher! This annual event will feature mouth-watering bbq from all across the South. Newberry will be hosting live music from John Emil, slide guitarist and blues man, and Bulldog Bluegrass for you to enjoy as you take a seat in Memorial Park to feast on the great food. Kids inflatables and entertainment will be available as well. Old favorites and new teams are expected, making this annual competition better than ever.  Bring your family out to feast on some of the best barbecue in the South!
