Palm Charter High School Run/Walk for the Checkered Flag

PALM Charter High School, the only motorsports high school in the nation, is hosting its first Run/Walk for the Checkered Flag. The 5K course will begin with a pace car and the school’s very own racecar leading the way. The USATF-certified course includes laps around the track combined with areas of the complex, and a celebration with prizes, music and vendors will end the event. Although this is a certified course, this is a fun run, not a qualifying run. You are welcome to run, walk, skip, strut, etc. Come with friends and family and enjoy one of Myrtle Beach’s great attractions while helping raise funds for PALM Charter High School’s new building.

Registration is $35 per person, closing June 1. Children 5 and younger get in free, and kids 6-11 cost $15 each. Register at www.palmsc.org or call the school at (843) 903-6600
