Lowcountry Quilt Show

The first Lowcountry Quilt Show will be held at the Georgetown County Museum from March 22 through April 2, 2016.
Three items will be raffled off during the show, including the quilt "Georgetown Stitched in History," designed by June Ross; stitched by June Ross, Jill Moore, Paula Getty and Maxi Lardiere; and machine stitched by Jill Moore. The quilt can be seen online here. Also being raffled will be a Featherweight sewing machine with case and a sweetgrass basket with quilt goodies. Raffle tickets can be purchased for a donation of $1 each. Tickets are now being sold.
The show will also include door prizes, demonstrations, bed turning to share stories behind a quilt and its creation, and quilts for sale.
