Lowcountry Arts & Literary Festival
to
Frampton Plantation House 1 Lowcountry Lane, Yemassee, South Carolina 29945
This arts and literary festival is held annually during the month of October. Authors from across the nation will be selling/autographing their books and taking time to meet and greet the public. Many of the authors will perform readings and storytelling.
A children’s corner will be available where children can listen to stories, make arts and crafts, play games, and more. Many children’s authors will be set up in this area to sell their books and interact with the children.
Artists and artisans of all types are welcome—paintings, photography, crafts, jewelry, sculptures, clothing, quilting, specialty items, and others.
The festival will showcase food and beverage vendors, entertainment, author readings, arts, authors, and a Civil War living history. This educational living history will give children and adults alike an inside view of what life was like for soldiers in the 1860s—a piece of history that is often forgotten.
