Jazz Orchestra: The Music of Stevie Wonder
Charleston Music Hall 37 John Street, Charleston, South Carolina 29403
The Charleston Jazz Orchestra (CJO) presents Living for the City: The Music of Stevie Wonder. The concert will be held Saturday, March 26, at Charleston Music Hall and will feature such popular hits as “Sir Duke,” “Superstition” and “I Just Called to Say I Love You.”
The inspiration for this concert arose as the CJO musicians brainstormed about whom they would want to celebrate, and many agreed Stevie Wonder was at the top of that list. The performance schedule includes two sets, at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Quiana Parler will join the CJO as a guest vocalist.
Tickets can be purchased online at charlestonjazz.com, by phone at (843) 641-0011, or at the box office at Charleston Music Hall, 37 John St., Charleston, Monday – Friday, 1 – 6 p.m. Prices range from $35 to $55 per ticket. Student tickets are $10.
