Historic Stables Experience

Explore the stables and barns that were once the home of racing immortals like Swale, Forty Niner, Blue Peter, Pleasant Colony, Kelso, Tom Fool, Shuvee and more.
Participants will be able to explore the stables that once belonged to: William Post, Buckland Stable, Claiborne Farm, Bohemia Stable, the Whitney Barns and Bwamazon Farm.
The cost is $30 per person. Registration and payment may be done at the Weeks Center.
Space is limited and the registration deadline is Thursday before each tour.
This program is for participants ages 12 and up. Children ages 12 to 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited. The registration deadline is Thursday before each program. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes.
Participants meet at the Rye Patch parking lot at 8:45 a.m. and will be transported to the Aiken Training Track by mini-bus.
