"Fiber Imaginations" with Dottie Moore

“Fiber Imaginations” is a unique opportunity to meet and create with Rock Hill’s globally recognized, award-winning fiber artist Dottie Moore. Moore will lead a behind-the-scenes tour of her exhibition of work at the Museum of York County and facilitate a fiber art workshop, where participants can create their own fun mixed-media art.
For over 40 years, Dottie Moore has stitched together her love of nature into uniquely crafted and richly textured tapestries that reflect the beauty and mysteries of earth and sky. Moore’s “Nature’s Tapestries” will be on exhibit at the Museum of York County through Feb. 26, 2017.
“Fiber Imaginations” is offered for Culture and Heritage Museum members at $25 and non-members for $35. The event is limited to 25 participants ages 16 and older.
