Fans of America Foundation Presents a Day of Honor

Fans of America Foundation will present a Day of Honor at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark on June 6, 2014. The Myrtle Beach Pelicans will host the Frederick Keys on that date. This event will honor those veterans who were involved in D-Day as well as other veterans and military personnel who will attend. We would like to interview some of our veterans to capture their stories and record them so that we can send them to the Library of Congress to be archived. Memories such as theirs should be preserved for history and for future generations. Coastal Carolina University has agreed to interview and record the participants for us. We will bring in the veterans and interview them.

Fans of America Foundation has game tickets for $10. These tickets can be purchased at our office, 2126 Highway 9 East, Unit G3, Longs, SC 29568. They may also be purchased online at www.fansofamericafoundation.com. We will also have a booth set up for those who wish to donate, to join, or to volunteer. The funds raised from donations, sponsorships and ticket sales will go to help fire, military and police groups in South Carolina.

The funds from this event and from all other events this year will allow Fans of America Foundation to assist fire, military and police groups in those states with our core missions. We want to help them with career retraining if their service ends due to illness or injury, housing, counseling for physical or mental trauma, emergencies and more. We are excited about giving back to so many who have given so much for us. With your support, we can make significant impacts in our heroes’ lives.
