The annual Colonial Times “A Day to Remember” shows what Colonial life was like from 1735 to 1785.
Oct. 14 is Educational Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Reservations are required. This is for fourth through sixth grades only.
The free, public "A Day to Remember" will be Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 16 at Living History Park in North Augusta.
Come learn how life and times were from 1735 to 1785. Watch our Colonial past come to life through demonstrations and living exhibits.
Try your hand at Colonial dancing, or see if you are fit to join the militia.
Featured attractions include an apothecary, pottery, tombstone carving, a tomahawk throw, weaving and spinning, candle making, churning butter, musket-firing demonstrations, gunsmithing, blacksmithing, needlework, woodworking and meat smoking and curing. Be sure to stop by and visit with the Indian traders, the baker, the potter, backwoodsmen, milliner and the tavern keeper, and visit Sutlers Row, Village Mercantile and New Windsor Cabinet Shop.
This year, we will be featuring our Apothecary Shop and a traveling surgeon.
