Clarendon County Hometown Teams Smithsonian Exhibit Opening

Clarendon County is proud to welcome "Hometown Teams: How Sports Shape America." This exhibit is provided by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service, which brings exhibits curated by the Smithsonian Institution to small towns.
Hours & viewing
Weldon Auditorium will be open to the public to view "Hometown Teams: How Sports Shape America" Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The grand opening is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and the exhibit will run from Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 through Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015. Local exhibit
The Clarendon County History Museum will feature a complementary exhibit of local sports legends, school sports, support teams, and other sports related memorabilia. This exhibit will also open on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, and will be open to the public 1-4 p.m. that day. The museum exhibit will be open to the public during the regular operating hours: Thursdays and Fridays, 1-4 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
