Celebrating Young Artists! Festival

Join 701 Center for Contemporary Art and other arts organizations for our end of summer festival to celebrate young artists in our community on Sunday, August 17, 2-6pm. The event will showcase selected works from each young artist attending our 701 CCA Summer Art Workshops in an exhibition at 701 Whaley’s Farmers Market. This summer, 701 CCA hosted dozens of youths ages 6-17 for our Summer Art Workshops. Classes ranged from painting and printmaking to ceramics and more. Come check out the talents of our young artists! We will have art games, demonstrations, live music, and performances by other participating organizations such as the Nickelodeon and Anne Brodie’s Carolina Ballet. Join us in celebrating the artistic talents of our youth in a fun family friendly celebration. The perfect way to end an amazing summer!
