Join Dr. Bill Rogers, Winthrop University biology professor and Museum of York County adjunct curator, for a Beginning Birder’s Workshop.
Learning what to look for and where it is located on a bird will improve your ability to identify birds and increase your enjoyment of birds. Included in your registration fee is a soft-cover "Birds of the Carolinas Field Guide" and information on free apps available for your smartphone with the songs and calls of common birds at your fingertips.
Preregistration and payment are required.
Fee:
Members, $25; nonmembers, $35. Ages 12-adult are welcome. All teens under 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
