Battle of Rivers Bridge Anniversary Lectures

Rivers Bridge State Historic Site will continue tradition of lectures about the American Civil War. We will host Mr. David Smoot who will talk about medicine of the Civil War and Mr. Dan Bell who will speak about his research on the Union casualties from our battle buried in the Beaufort National Cemetery. These presentations will follow a ranger-led tour of the Civil War battlefield here at Rivers Bridge. The battlefield tour will begin at 1:30 p.m. and the lectures will begin at 3 p.m. Meet at the community building at Rivers Bridge State Historic Site. Admission is $5 per adult and free for children 16 and under.
