71st Annual Plantation Tours

Kidogo Farms 640 Lanes Creek Drive, Georgetown, South Carolina 29440
Prince George Winyah Episcopal is celebrating its 71st Annual Spring Plantation Tours in Georgetown, S.C., set for March 23-24. The tours are always popular with decorators, Southern history buffs, gardeners and visitors to South Carolina's coast.
Georgetown, founded in 1729, was for two centuries one of the wealthiest areas in both the colonial era and the young United States. The growing of indigo in colonial America, then rice in the 19th century, created an elite society which left behind beautiful dwellings, gardens and public buildings, many of which are open to our visitors only once a year.
We invite you to visit our website and follow along with us on Facebook for more tour news and information on admission! Be sure to check out Friday night's oyster roast, delicious southern Plantation Tea at Winyah Indigo Society Hall daily, scrumptious bake sale and much-talked-about art show and sale where you can take home gorgeous works of art at incredible prices! We hope to see you there.
