The Lower Savannah River Alliance's 4th Annual Swallow-tailed Kite Outing will give birders, non-birders, photographers and naturalists of all ages an opportunity to witness the swallow-tailed kites' acrobatic bug-hunting maneuvers above the Savannah River swamps at a hotspot in Allendale County. The event will also feature Jim Elliott, executive director and founder of the Avian Conservation Center in Awendaw, S.C., as a guest speaker.
