Phillip Gardner is the author of three short story collections: Available Light, Somebody Wants Somebody Dead, and Someone to Crawl Back to. A three-time South Carolina Fiction Project winner and Pushcart Prize nominee, he has published widely in literary journals and anthologies. Gardner is also a screenwriter, composer, and the lead singer for The Woodys, an eight-member musical group specializing in classic rock as well as rhythm and blues.
