"Peter and the Wolf"
Chapman Cultural Center 200 East St John Street, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29306
This Saturday afternoon concert is geared to families with children. In
collaboration with Ballet Spartanburg, the Philharmonic presents
Prokofiev's ballet Peter and the Wolf. Noted NPR Radio voice and
Spoleto Chamber Music host Miles Hoffman be our narrator. This orchestra
will also perform Copeland's ever popular Appalachian Spring. This
concert is designed to delight the young listener as it transports them through
the mysteries, magic, and wonderment that is live orchestral music.
Time: There are two showings taking place both at 2pm and 4pm on Saturday.
